Palm Jebel Ali’s Growth Accelerates: Major Marine Contract Secured for Eight New Fronds by 2025

Palm Jebel Ali’s developer has announced that the first eight fronds will be ready by the first quarter of 2025. This milestone will facilitate the start of villa infrastructure construction and civil works.

Secured Contract: Nakheel has been awarded a significant Dh810 million contract for maritime construction on Palm Jebel Ali, which includes:

  • Dredging to prepare the terrain.
  • Land reclamation to expand the island.
  • Beach profiling to create pristine coastlines.
  • Sand placement across all fronds to ready the land for villa construction.
Palm Jebel Ali to Expand with 8 New Fronds by 2025
  • Rapid Marine Project Advancement: Jan De Nul Dredging, responsible for the marine operations, has commenced mobilization efforts. The marine project is expected to be completed in just over two years, setting the stage for further development.
  • New Public Access Road: Construction has started on a new public access road that will enhance island connectivity by linking Palm Jebel Ali to Sheikh Zayed Road.
  • Phase 1 Villas Sold Out Quickly: The introduction of Phase 1 fronds last year saw over 700 villas sold almost immediately, highlighting the high demand for this prestigious development and attracting numerous investors and real estate professionals.
  • Timely Delivery of Infrastructure: The luxurious homes, scheduled for completion by late 2026, are on track for timely delivery, provided that ongoing progress in maritime and infrastructure projects continues smoothly.
  • Bold Concept for Palm Jebel Ali: Upon completion, Palm Jebel Ali will be a massive island featuring:
    • A total distance of 13.4 km.
    • 16 fronds offering opulent living spaces.
    • 91 miles of stunning beachfront.
    • Accommodation for approximately 35,000 families.
  • Twice the Size of Palm Jumeirah: This man-made archipelago, designed in the shape of a palm tree, will be twice the size of Palm Jumeirah, further establishing Dubai’s reputation for grand and innovative construction projects.
