UAE Pass: Your All-in-One Digital Document App

No matter what type of phone you have—be it Apple, Android, or Huawei—you can use the UAE Pass app to securely store all official documents issued by UAE government departments. Key documents you can save include:

  • Driving Licence
  • Emirates ID
  • Residence Visa
  • Tenancy Contract
  • Car Registration
  • Attested Degree from Ministry of Education (if attested after April 1, 2020)
  • Marriage Certificate from Ministry of Justice (if issued after January 1, 2020)
  • Labour Card
  • Labour Contract
  • Property Title Deed

How to Add Documents to Your UAE Pass App

To add documents to your UAE Pass app, follow these steps:

  • Open the App: Navigate to the ‘Documents’ section at the bottom of the screen.
  • Request a Document: Select ‘Request a document’ and choose the relevant government department for the document you need. For example:
    • Ministry of Interior for digital driving license or car registration.
    • o Dubai Land Department or Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation, Ajman for rental contracts.
  • Select and Request: Choose the document you need from the drop-down menu, tap ‘Request’, and confirm. You’ll receive a confirmation message, and the document will appear in your digital vault within a few minutes.

Using Digital Copies for Services

Once your document is saved in the app, you can use it in three ways:

  • Download as PDF: Tap the ‘download’ icon to save the document in your phone files. The PDF will have a ‘UAE Verify’ stamp, confirming its authenticity.
  • Share Online: Tap the ‘share’ icon to send the document via email, WhatsApp, or any other app.
  • QR Verification: Use the ‘QR verification’ option for physical document verification. The app will generate a QR code, active for five minutes, which the recipient can scan to confirm the document’s validity through the ‘UAE Verify’ website.

Quick Access via Your Phone Wallet

In addition to the UAE Pass app, you can also upload certain documents to your phone’s digital wallet, regardless of whether you have an Apple, Android, or Huawei device.

IDs You Can Add to Your Apple Wallet:

  • Dubai Driving Licence via the RTA Dubai app.
  • Dubai Car Registration via the RTA Dubai app.
  • Emirates ID via the UAEICP app.

IDs You Can Add to Your Samsung Wallet:

  • Dubai Driving Licence using the RTA Dubai app.
  • Dubai Car Registration with the RTA Dubai app.
  • Manage Your Nol Card with the nolPay app.

Your Emirates ID can also provide access to medical facilities, useful if you forget your health insurance card.
